What has A&D been doing the last few years? Working on over 30 exciting projects, including hotels, restaurant and luxury residences. What we have not been doing is updating our website! Because our focus is on the projects and servicing our clients, we operate without a marketing or PR department. That said, we are working to launch our newest portfolio additions over the next several months. Check back for A&D’s latest & greatest!
Formerly known as The Jurys Hotel, A&D spearheaded the expansion and renovation of the facility, transforming it into a unique boutique luxury hotel that serves as the flagship for a new brand. Revinvented as The Dupont Hotel. This new face in Washington takes the level of luxury and style to a whole new level. Sleep in one of the luxe guest rooms, sip on a cocktail at the hip Bar Dupont, snack at the swanky Café Dupont, and soak in the stunning design that makes up The Dupont Hotel.
Tony & Heather Podesta’s Residence is complete after undergoing a complete overhaul, addition and renovation. The resulting four-story home is an exceptional minimalist backdrop that showcases their impressive and extensive art collection. Geothermal heating and cooling, energy-conscious design, and state-of-the-art controls systems for lighting, audiovisual and video art systems complement this extraordinary project.
A&D is excited to participate in the 2010 DC Design House. The team has designed a modern-styled bedroom that merges rich dark finishes with luminous fabrics and niches. A&D’s design showcases custom millwork, a sleek bathtub and vanity, a low linear bed, a luxe wool floor covering, an intimate color palate, and more. Check out the installation May 21 – December 4.
Also on the boards at A&D are several exciting projects including: a two-story bar & restaurant with outdoor patio and views of the city on the corner of 14th & U Streets, a renovation of the Windsor Suites Hotel in Philadelphia and a high-end penthouse residence in Penn Quarter.

We chose to embrace the distinct character and architectural period of the building, juxtaposing its modern language of light and space through A&D’s unique point of view. By maximizing glazing in public spaces and working to open up the floors as much as possible, we were able to greatly enhance the hotel’s visual impact.
